The Panthers have a Championship mentality. Last night was no holds barred it was gonna be who was not only the best athletes on the ice but the strongest mentally on the ice.....it was a Stanley Cup Final for the AGES. The Dolphins need to gain this mentality that the Panthers have.....I wonder if Coach McDaniel will have a chance this Summer to sit down and chat with Coach Maurice & pick his brain a bit.....would be fun to evesdrop on a dinner conversation between them !!!

Florida Panthers play a physical style. Dolphins are more like the Oilers. Maybe because the rules in football lean offensive, that would make the Dolphins construction more successful. i don't know.

Grier assembled another great roster on paper. BUT, until the Dolphins stay NFL average healthy, finish strong and win playoff games, same old cursed Dolphins. I went through this with the Red Sox Curse of the Bambino until 2004. Now, I’m waiting out the #CurseOfThePerfectSeason. I wonder if the Dolphins will win a championship before I die?

I just can't get hyped for Miami this year. I don't see anything this year that improves their strategic weaknesses last year. They're no stronger on the OL or DL, and the best teams bullied them. Grier has built a glass cannon. When all goes to plan they can put up numbers, but when their weaknesses are exploited they'll shatter. Compare this team with last year's team and put them into the games lost last year. Do they look any different? Second, will McDaniel do a better job in sticking with the run?

Stupidity.. Here we are going into year 5 and people still have to defend Tua... If he was so great Nobody would have to defend him... You'd just know he was Awesome.... But he's not. He's not even average and that is why you are reading this right now!

The motion in the dolphins system is a blessing and a handicap. When they are at home at the timing on the offensive timing is perfect pre snap they are hard to stop. NOW ... on the road with noise or cold they struggled running that motion ...

I respect Kurt but I disagree on some of what he is saying. Tua can create and extend and has movement. Tua does not have the OL to take more than 2 seconds to throw the ball and McDaniel only schemes 2 reads on most plays due to the OL. The Dolphins as a team ran out of gas as more and more players went down with injuries. No one can operate at a high level using the bottom half of your OL roster as starters.

Absolutely YES on Williams! He would be at the very least good depth for the team. Even if his "spot" was taken, he can play guard all day long, and God knows we need depth at that position 😉 I'm really not sure why this isn't already a done deal. He played great for us.

I totally agree with you on almost everything you said, but other than Mahomes, who’s on a level of his own, why shouldn’t Tua be paid as much as the newly 50+ million per yr quarterbacks where the market is currently at? None of these qbs are elite other than again, Mahomes.

I think Kyle hit a couple facts - Connor (when healthy) is a very good guard and a very good center. Just tough, intelligent and nasty. Brewer is better at center and not as much at guard. Connor is unlikely to be ready to go for the 1st game, and he needs to showcase himself at his best. Also, is there distrust with the Dolphins organization - he HAD outplayed his contract a bit and didn’t get an upgrade. Playing hard for the Dolphins last year REDUCED his value. So - residual feelings? But - IF he comes back fully, and IF we don’t suffer ALL the injuries, and IF he accepts 1 season at guard, AND PUP at the beginning - then the offensive line is pretty friggin’ good - much improved with very good depth by 1/3 of the way through the season or so.

Tua relies on Hill way to much. He is his first read every time of course but he waits to long to read two, three. Then he gets happy feet and runs for his life instead of looking downfield. Then even Hill has dropped some easy passes when we needed them. I know they are going to pay him, but he can't beat a good team consistently and we better get a hell of backup! Hope I'm wrong :( McDaniel's, you may want to run more and involve a tight end or two.

Love your show, but I think you forgot about Micah Parsons when talking about Jaelan's contract competitors.

Connor was asked about his favorite position last year, and he said something along the lines of “I'm a C now”, feels like both Williams and Miami have moved on.

If Tua did not have the worst pass blocking O-line and had more time in the pocket like everyone else has, he would easily throw for 6000 yards and 60 TDs with the talent at WR/TE/RB and his skill set.
